About Malachite Green Oxalate
Malachite Green Oxalate is the oxalate salt of the triarylmethane dye malachite green. It gives an intense blue-green solution in water.
In microbiology it is the primary stain of the Schaeffer–Fulton endospore stain. It is also used as a dye, and in aquaculture in countries where its use is permitted.
