About Bromothymol Blue
Bromothymol Blue is a sulfonphthalein dye used as an acid–base indicator. It is yellow below pH 6.0 and blue above pH 7.6, with a green transition in between.
Its range around neutral pH makes it the indicator of choice for water testing, aquarium and pool kits, and teaching laboratories.
