Overview

About Mercuric Sulphate

Mercuric Sulphate is a white crystalline mercury(II) salt. It dissolves in hot dilute sulphuric acid to give a clear, colourless solution.

Environmental laboratories use it in the chemical oxygen demand (COD) test, where it binds chloride that would otherwise interfere with the result.

Questions

Frequently asked

Is your Mercuric Sulphate suitable for COD testing?

Yes. It is a white crystalline grade with low chloride (not more than 0.003%), which is what the COD method needs.

Which pack sizes can I order?

250 g and 500 g packs as standard. Tell us if you need a different size or a repeat schedule.

Can you supply against our own specification?

Send your specification with your enquiry. Our team will confirm which limits we can meet before you order.

Do you ship outside India?

Yes. We hold an Import Export Code and supply both domestic and export buyers. Mention the destination country in your enquiry so we can quote the right packing and documents.
