Nickel analysis
Spot tests, gravimetric and photometric determination of nickel.
Powder
Also known as DMG, Diacetyl dioxime and Chugaev reagent
DMG, minimum 99.0% by GC: the classic reagent for nickel, giving a red precipitate.
Dimethylglyoxime is a white crystalline reagent, soluble in ethanol.
With nickel(II) it forms a bright red complex, the basis of the standard test and gravimetric method for nickel. It also reacts selectively with palladium.
Every batch is released against these limits. Ask for the specification sheet with your quote.
