Laboratory reagent
A reagent in inorganic chemistry and analytical work.
Also known as Mercuric amidochloride, Mercury amide chloride and White precipitate
Mercury amidochloride with a 98.0–100.5% acidimetric assay and low mercury(I) salts.
Ammoniated Mercury is mercury(II) amidochloride, a white powder that is insoluble in water.
It is used as a laboratory reagent and in specialist formulations. Every batch is tested for mercury(I) salts, loss on drying and residue on ignition.
Every batch is released against these limits. Ask for the specification sheet with your quote.
